Doncaster Astronomical Society

Doncaster Astronomical Society has an observatory at the Austerfield Study Centre with whom we are in partnership.

We do visual observing and astrophotography, of the Moon, planets, stars, clusters, nebulae, galaxies etc.At the show we'll have a large telescope on show together with a pair of big binoculars, a smaller telescope and a solar telescope to look at the Sun, if it shines. We'll also have "experts" on hand to answer questions, and a display of some of our astrophotography work.
