Having ensured the safety of competitors and the public, launches will be undertaken and measured under strict supervision in order to discover what it takes for a really successful lift off.
Children are seldom keen to study lessons. But today the classroom is abandoned in favour of the playing field. In a fun way to explore physics practical lessons are learnt. This competition aims to show that science is anything but boring.
This is one way that Hill House School shows its innovative approach to making learning relevant and fun. It is also especially appropriate that the school should be with us at the Auckley Show as they will soon be moving the whole school into its new home in Auckley. The new site is based at the former RAF Finningley and can be seen opposite the entrance to Robin Hood Airport on Hayfield Lane. You can see what is happening on the school website at www.hillhousestmarys.co.uk
